Currently both organisations say they are confident their respective events will go ahead. There won't be any sudden leg kicks or takedowns from Conor. There is a serious $ penalty if it happens and he won't risk a penny.

Floyd hasn't fought in almost 2 years, and when you retire worth almost half a billion, how much training do you think he's done since then?
Conor applied for a boxing licence in July 2016. That means he's probably been planning and training for this fight for over a year.
Conor is taller, will be heavier when the bell rings, and has a greater reach.
Everyone talks up Floyd's defence, and how exceptional his counter punch is. I'd argue McGregor's counter is superior.

Every time someone says Conor can't do something he does it. If their game plan is something other than "charge and throw punches" I'd say Conor has a chance.

Money on Floyd because it's in his house with his rules.

I don't think that video went into the technical parts of boxing where Mayweather has a lot of experience.

Personally I'd like to see Mayweather win. For two reasons. One being the age gap. Two, I think the other bloke is a total cock.

I agree that the odds are slim, but, McGoater not being a typical boxer that has spent his life boxing could also work partly in his favor. Floyd is expecting a boxer, with a boxer's movement and style. One of the most unique things about Conor is his movement. Imagine how much more effective Conor is going to be only evading fists, not having to worry about takedowns or feet. I won't be surprised for a second if McGregor gets him.

Fight lived up to the hype. Floyd's experience shined through, and Conor's biggest weakness is still his gas tank.

2 judges gave Floyd 2 of the first 3 rounds. Crazy!

Surely Conors trainers knew he would try and draw out the fight so why not try and condition him more? Or is Conor already at his limit in terms of endurance?

I knew he was in trouble when I think it was end of the 2nd, Mayweather was just relaxing in his corner and Conor was covered in ice.

His cardio issues were exposed as far back as the Mendes fight. He's a maniac with his training, even bringing in a cardiovascular specialist to try and change his physiology for this fight. Despite his crazy training he has seen little improvements since Mendes, and the experts behind his FAST program suggest it could be a genetic limitation.

I think his strategy today had to be about a quick KO. I don't think him or his team believed he would keep up with Floyd's pace and knew it was only a matter of time before he gassed. Owen Roddy kept telling him to tie Floyd up to give himself a chance to recover, but he would get out there and start throwing punches. He landed something like 42 punches in 3 rounds, and 111 punches in total. Insane when you consider Pacquiao only landed 81 his entire fight. Floyd always gives up the first rounds in his fights and I don't think he expected Conor to land as many as he did, and he was cooked.

His next opponent in the octagon could be Tony Ferguson who has Floyd like cardio. If they don't get it sorted he could lose his belt.
