Hey all,

posting this on behalf of WRXCWA. We are running down at Collie and the event is open to members and non-members. Saturday will be a private event; so just the WRX Club entrants (i.e. you) running around – and Sunday is mixed in with Collie Motorsport Group; so there will be a mix of vehicles there such as open wheelers. You can enter either or both days.

This year we have two full days on the Collie circuit, Phil's Hill will not be used. If you are new to this event, you don't just get a couple of hours to try to learn the circuit, like so many other events. You get two full days to learn the track and have as many laps as you can fit in.

Registrations - http://wrxclubwa.com.au/ (http://wrxclubwa.com.au/event-registration/)<wbr> (http://wrxclubwa.com.au/event-registration/)event-registration/

An outline of the program is:

• Saturday - Driver Training Day (DTD) & Tuning Sessions run concurrently over the full day (10.00 am to 5.00 pm). Non Speed Event.

• Saturday Evening - A social event is planned. See details below BYOG BBQ.

• Sunday Morning - A light breakfast will be provided for all people staying at the track.

• Sunday - Tuning Sessions run concurrently over the full day (10.00 am to 3.00 pm). Non Speed Event.

This event is the biggest event the club runs all year and gives a greater opportunity for driver instruction, tuning and testing than all the other events put together. On Sunday, you get a opportunity to test those new skills. Running on conjunction with the Collie Motor Group CMG, we will run a series of untimed sessions to run to your heart's content. The exact format for Sunday will be determined on the day, according to the weather and skill levels to make the day exciting and low risk for all competitors and officials.

A CAMS License is required for this event. Single day licenses can be purchased from the club at the event.

Scrutineering of all participating vehicles will be conducted prior to the event. Please see the supp-regs for more details.

Participants can arrive at the track from 8.00 am each morning. Drivers briefing will be held at 9.15 - 9.30 am and track time will commence at 10.00 am. The finish time on the Sunday will allow you to get back to Perth in the late afternoon.

Event Costs (excludes CAMS licence):
Club Members attending Combined (Saturday, Camping, Breakfast & Sunday) $230
Club Members attending Saturday only $130
Club Members attending Sunday only $100

Non Members attending Combined (Saturday, Camping, Breakfast & Sunday) $260
Non Members attending Saturday only $150
Non Members attending Sunday only $110

Note - Prices for Combined (Saturday, camping and Sunday) include Saturday track fees, bunk bed/camping fees, BBQ Salad on Saturday night, Light Breakfast on Sunday morning, Sunday track fees. If you don't intend on camping at the track on Saturday night, you are welcome to purchase separate Saturday and Sunday track fees.

The Club is investigating alternatives for lunch for both Saturday and Sunday and we will advise closer to the event.

Driver training will be available on Saturday for participants new to the track or seeking instructions on how to improve their driving skills. Please select the yes radio button when registering if you require an instructor. Our instructors are all experienced drivers who sit in your car and tell you about the lines and how to improve your driving skills.

Accommodation is available at the track in the form of bunk beds (limited numbers so be quick, first in best dressed), and camping at the track (bring your own camping gear) or in Collie at various motels. Please select the appropriate accommodation in the drop down box during registration to let us know where you will be staying. Here are a few choices for motels. Collie Ridge Motel 9734 6666, Collie Heights Comfort Inn and Suites Collie 9734 6444, Banksia Motel 9734 5655, Collie Motel (& Collie Forest Motel) 9734 1166. Or, ring the Collie Visitor Centre 9734 2051

One of the best aspects of our Collie event is the social side with the opportunity to get together with like minded car enthusiasts. To this end, the club is hosting a social function (BBQ, eg BYO drinks and BBQ meat, club will supply salad), on Saturday night 29/10/2015 for club members and their guests, at the circuit immediately following the event.

Following your registration, we will email you entry forms, supp-regs, scrutineering location and time, and other information closer to the event.

Registering for the event on this website only commences your application and does not guarantee your entry. Entries will be considered conforming when the event fees are paid and all documentation, entry forms and licences have been completed to the satisfaction of the club. All vehicles will be subject to scrutineering prior to the event. WRX Club of WA reserves the write to reject any non-conforming application.

Unlike in previous years, Phil's Hill will not be used this weekend and this event is not part of the WRX Club WA - Club Motor Sport Championship. Sunday will be a shared event with Collie Motorsport Group.
