Have an annoying noise in the falcon at about 1500rpm when driving, it sounds like a playing card in the spokes of a bike. Have checked everything I can, Jimmah had the car for a month and he couldn't find it either.
It goes away or gets quieter the minute it's under load, soon as your back to cruising revs it comes back, doing my head in.

Have heard the flex plate bolts can work loose and make noise, almost tempted to rip the box out and check.
Anyone heard of this?

Can't even hear it at idle, just when driving, mind you I think I heard it in the mac as drive through when revving it, but not loud.

Possible it's cracked but hasn't failed yet. Usually when they go they are load as fuck at idle and sound like the end of the world, but putting it in gear stops the noise.

If it's a sedan try pulling the hand brake on 1 or 2 clicks when cruising and see if that effects the noise.

The lids of green wheelie bins worked better... lasted longer as well. Girls love it when it lasts longer.

Have also seen/heard similar things from loose crank pulley bolts..
