What do you guys use/recommend?
Have gone through my second set of Plantronics bluetooth headphones just this week as the left side has died on me again. I don't know if I'm just a spastic and keep breaking it somehow putting them in and out within the helmet or if headphones just die after a year or so of use just so you buy a new set.
Looking for a suitable replacement, still with bluetooth so calls can be taken if needed but mainly for music. Anything out there a bit sturdier maybe that won't break? They seem to always break at the base of the earpiece where the cabling is.

Bose are the best headphones I've ever had and if you search up now they've just released a wireless inner ear option. I'm keen to buy.
The cable ones I had broken once before and were replaced under warranty, the latest model the guy was ripping at the connections to show the new strength, they are bloody strong

Never worn headphones while riding, and never will.
Focus on the road.

To be honest I've never had an issue concentrating with them in, it becomes background noise and just blocks wind really. Have worn them daily for the whole time I've had my license without issue, have had no issue hearing cars/emergency vehicles etc.
Also, there's something peaceful about having piano or similar playing in the background, especially after a stressed out day at the office.

Have you looked at a sena headset that you fit in your helmet?

I ran just run of the mill in ear skull candy set and thought they were great until I got my motard. Tried out https://www.decibullz.com/ and can tell you 110% they suck dick. Once that stuff has been set it is hard and because it shrinks a little it just didn't fit ear as I was expecting. Bought skull candy ones again with more option of rubber bits and tucked a neck warmer into base of helmet to help with noise.
If you ask someone in speedway, there is a dude who does a very nice custom mold ear plugs meant for racing applications. I think they were like 100 a pair fitted maybe..

I have a sena headset - obviously wont block any wind but I find it useful for a bit of background music and navigation

I looked at those but they have some issues - the memory cards have a habit of falling out. They're pretty cheap compared to just the headsets - something has to be wrong
