Just make sure you test drive the car and ensure you are happy with the gearbox. The wife just bought a new Golf Comfortline and seems VW are still having a few issues with Auto boxes. Transmission seems to "slip" on take off from standing start/in traffic etc.
So far guys at Melville VW are being very helpful. Young salesman there ,Justin ,was really good to deal with and got a great deal.

will take that advice, but its the 6 speed DSG I'm interested in, not the 7.

I've got some base model golf on loan and it's great to drive. No climate control or reverse sensors but goes like stink.

Stick it in sports and you lose the hesitatation and gain wheel spin
