Hi
Mate of mine has a 2006 VZ Calais and recently the electronic dash has stopped working.
Have searched through various commodore forums without much luck. Has anyone experienced this same problem? The screen in the middle works fine however all the dials etc are dead.
Also if you know where I could get an electrical diagram for the dash or a workshop manual that would be appreciated
thanks!

I had a vz executive that had the problem. Every gauge except the digital display was dead.
There was a place in the east that would repair them but I had no luck getting in touch with them and ended up buying a replacement dash from a wrecker with about the same amount of kms. Then once installed I had a light come on I think it was because the car the dash came out of had 4 airbags and mine had 6 or something along those lines. Anyway to rectify that you need someone to re program the dash to suit the car. They use a "tech 2" dealerships have those. Someone from the forums here was able to help me with that so the whole job cost $120ish total.

if the dash has power and the dials aint working, then it's likely a internal board problem.
they only have constant 12v and a switched ignition power into the cluster along with other signals. so its not like there is a specific power wire for different parts of the dash.
just get another dash cluster from wreckers. then get this fella to sort km's out to match old.
