Anyone know some one good that can remove a broken arp head stud from a block? Needs to be onsite at my place in mundijong.

Not game to try an easy out myself and fuck it, so looking to pay some one to do it properly.

The stud has snapped almost clean off the top of the threads were it goes into the block threads, so it's plenty deep. (heads off already)

Cheers

Studs should be finger tight so like evoeta said, it should be a breeze to remove.

Spoke to him today, my cousins going to come out for a look tonight first though. he's a machinist/trainer etc for over 30 years so see what he says.

while the studs were finger tight when put in, they have gotten tight from the arp lube drying (also been about 6 months since they were first put in/heat cycled etc). I might just stick a large flat head screw driver in tonight and see if there is any movement.

If you want to be prepared for next time, this product is hands down the best for stud removal.

Comes with guides to sit inside threaded section if snapped off deep, or slide over stud when snapped off elevated, so you will always drill the center of the stud.
