edit: now looking for a FG MKII xr6T - budget $25k max, so an ex highway patrol car would be ideal.

How much are you looking to pay
prefer under 10k, but may go to 15
edit: must be a sedan, no utes.
Willing to go for a walk?

not for an auto.
I know they are faster, but I'm not sure if I could live with one.
certainly a lot more 6 speed auto's to choose from though
cheers

Should have much more luck! Less chance of total shitters.
yeah, I drove a manual ba with 550rwhp last week, but it just had too many other 'issues' for the price.
if i go for a mk 2 fg, unfortunately my Territory would have to go, as having 3 really nice cars would be crazy considering I dont need a car for work!

A falcon and a territory are not really nice cars just FYI so it would only be 1 (assuming the last car isn't similar)
i dont think anyone cares what my opinion of a nice car is

Good idea getting the FG MK2 if you are going to keep it for a while.
Even with stock power they are animals.

I'd still classify both of these as "nice" cars as opposed to the vast majority of silvias and non gtr skylines on this site

I can comfortably drive 5 hours straight in my BF (will be tomorrow morning and again Sunday), it overtakes road trains like fuck and has been ultra reliable for the 250,000km I've put on it as the second owner (still all the original ancillaries) despite my constant thrashing and long fluid change intervals (engine oil aside). I also think my Falcon's a very nice car :)
Why the decision to look at a ZF auto now? Just for more choice?
i like the ease in which they can be launched but if a manual came along i would certainly still consider it.
an ex popo just sold yesterday that i was going to look at tomorrow - not much around under 30k at the moment.

I'd love a g6e turbo as a daily, I think they look great and i love the boosted six... went in a vf ss today though and the interior is simply worlds ahead...not even close.

Get an ex-cop car from Pickles in Sydney.
The NSW pursuit cars also have Brembo front brakes. Which you'll need.
Freight from Sydney to Perth with Prixcar is around $1300. Or, fly over and have some fun driving it back.
yeah all the ones i've seen here have the brembo's & have been ex nsw. dont have time to fly over east, will just have to wait.
