Anyone recommend anything.
Not sure what i have done anymore. Basically knee hurts when i move it however once fully bent or straight the pain goes away. ( extremely sharp pain )
Its in the back of knee.
If i lift knee up and support it with my hand and do same motion the pain drops significantly.
Had X-Ray \ Ultrasound on it and nothing out of the normal has shown.
Wondering if anyone had an injury similar to this or if anyone can recommend a sports physio who might be able to work on this.

You see a GP or specialist?
Would be going to the latter if you haven't.

Went to GP.
Got referral for scans. Went and got them and got told that unless it swells then they cant really see what it is.
Next step is an MRI but dont really want a needle in side of my knee at this point or spending another 100 odd bucks on a scan if i can get someone to try treat it.
Pain killers also do fuck all and i have tried from Panadol to Tremadol ( I use it for migraines )

Sounds like you kneed some specialist advice...
Don't mess around with your knees. Shitty injury. Get is sorted properly or you'll regret it as you get further along IMO.

Are you sure it's not your hammy ?
I get killer hamstring pain in behind my knees some days, can barely walk. Although it's also coupled to a couple of knee joints that are no longer held in place with cartilage.

Yea 90% certain its in the knee area.
I want to get it sorted properly and ASAP if possible. We have finals starting in 2 weeks and unless it improves i wont be able to play.

Don't always need a needle for an MRI. The MRI i had when i ruptured my ACL i didn't need a needle.
I would be getting one no matter what, if you've fully torn something you will want to know if surgery is required sooner rather than later.

Yeah when I tore my ACL I didn't need one, I'm glad work covered it, was pretty fucking expensive.

Health insurance covered mine, but not the drugs weirdly.

in same position as you, I had a ultrasound and x-rays couldn't find anything serious but im suffering serious pain when I put any weight on my left knee and try to lift, next step is mri they said also. its coming from the front of the knee. Its a very sharp pain, I tried physio work he stated I needed to ste the report cmae back like this but im yet to do an MRI.

A quick google on your report and things don't look good. Most common answer was to chop your leg off... From the neck. ;)

You could do that, just don't harm Mr worldwides money maker :D
If you go see a specialist, the first thing they'll do is send you off for an MRI so they dont fuck around with maybes.
A physio will happily spend a few sessions before sending you off for one. Take a punt with a physio for a session since youve only got 2 weeks, will take at least a few days to book in for a scan anyway.

Another vote for Simon here.
With all of the different shit joining up in and around the knee, it can make things hard to check with ultrasound etc cause there's a lot going on.. No needle for my last couple MRI's.

Another plus for Simon Trinca, although as BrettJ pointed out, it does sound like a Hamstring Injury. If not, the MRI will discover anything untoward.

Get the MRI and be done with it.
Different joint but injured my elbow late Feb at work, doc sent me to the physio and only by chance a specialist was walking past when she was working on it and said it wasn't improving. This was mid May. Specialist sent me for the MRI asap, 7mm x 8mm tear 70% through the tendon. The treating doc was wanting to sign me off in two weeks time back for full duties.
The MRI should be able to point you in the right direction for whats needed to recover.

Have had MRI and CT of knees, one of them needed needle to inject dye or something, I think that was CT.. that was fucked!
Hope you recover by finals dude

Need to know what is causing the pain for anything to be treated. MRI is the only way forward.

In the same boat. Went to dr today after injuring knee 3 weeks ago. Didn't train until last night and 1st time running shooting pain. My gp is fairly good and thinks I have a complete acl rupture (same knee as last recon), hope he is wrong......maybe getting too old for football

Pfft i'm older and i'm going through it at the moment. 9months seemed like hell for me when i had surgery. Now it's feeling stronger than it ever has before.
Get it scanned, get it fixed now, or you'll risk ruining it for the future.

Had scans yet?
Reffing a game last night a guy came down awkwardly off a layup and i heard the pop, made me cringe thinking of what i did.

Nah not yet.
Havnt played bball and it has started to slowly ease up.
Got physio booked friday.
Yea that is not a good sound.
Ahhh the sound.
Then the secondary sound of the thud hitting the ground
Then the third one of screaming/yelling/groaning/swearing.
