IPLT20 cricket finals start tonight. Only way you can watch it is by streaming it through a third party website (crichd.in). I'm keen to watch, but it starts at 12:30am my time and i don't really want to be staying up until 4am. So i figured i would look into "recording" the stream, getting up early and watching it. At least this way i can fast forward breaks etc.
Has anybody done this before? Any suggestions? I'd prefer soemthing that isn't simply just a recording the screen.
Ill go do a google now and try and figure something out. Hoping to test tonights game so i can have a solution for tomorrow nights game.

You can get screen capture software that records everything.
Start it
Make full screen
Leave running
Stop when you get up.
Make sure you have lots of harddrive space.

The funny part will come when your net drops out 2 mins into the game and doesn't restart the stream so your stuck with 7 hours of desktop viewing!

The issue with that is audio. As that won't be recorded by simply recording the screen.

Its the cricket.
Just play music in background.
Might be able to find a torrent site for cricket.

Figured out hwo to record audio as well. But it wasn't a smooth video.
Ill just pay for ESPN subscription and watch the replays via VPN.

I use Replay Video Capture. Records audio and video as well. Use it for recording videos that are hard to get the source of or for F1, race streams.

Just dub in some background sound of grass growing.
