Morning all,

Just got word from my boss and a few of my co-workers, got their phones, wallets, watches and keys stolen from their workplace in Forrestfield last night.
A couple of the phones were iPhones and used an app to track them down and police were informed but apparently had no power to enter the houses because the phones had been switched off.
Would anyone know if Samsung and HTC phones can be traced? If anyone can help that would be great, if you need any info, serial numbers etc pm me and i'll try to get them.
Unfortunately that's all the info I have for now.

How the fuck do you guys know so many people. It's why I would never ever post a chicks pic I fucked. It's likely to be a members sister mum or reli of some sort.

Anyway Samsung you can trace the phone via the Samsung account on line. Even if phone is switched off it will give coordinates.

When I set my Samsung up I also have coordinates go to a mates phone every time phone is turned I and SIM card removed.

All my mate would of got is a text with coordinates and a msg that said

****** phone is used not in accordance with ****** you know what to do.

sign in with the google account and it should be able to trace where the phone has been if the location is turned on.

Provided the owner of the samsung phone knows the email address and password for their samsung account, you can use samsung's "find my mobile" feature: https://findmymobile.samsung.com/login.do

You can send certain functions to the phone, such as wiping all user data, so the next time it's turned back on and has wifi or data connected, the phone can be wiped remotely.

It WILL NOT help if the phone has been factory reset, or had a new OS installed.

How does one do not safe for work tags.

Took me almost a year to work out what nsfw was. I always thought it had something to do with a black nissan

thanks for the info given guys, apparently only the police have the address so no dumped gearboxes unfortunately. All the phones have been switched off so tracking hasn't seemed to have worked.

Boss is just going to leave it with police, so obviously nothing is going to happen and these pingpingpingpings are going to get away with it.
