Always garaged and I'm only driving it maybe once every weekend or two. Also just bought a block of land and wouldn't mind some more money towards everything else, so unfortunately the car has to go.

Only thing not working is the aircon, but I've never needed it. Everything else is in great condition.

All test driving will be done by myself and a deposit will be required before the test drive. I'll also be taking copies of licences before the drive.

No tyre kickers, will only take 1 person in the car for the test drives. Contact me by email or on here please :)

Do they get their money back at the end of the drive?
Or are you making money from taking people for a drive?
Essentially you're running a sightseeing tour in your car with the option to buy the car .

But it's quite a nice sight though.

No, just a small deposit and yes money obviously goes back to them if they decide not to buy.

Just don't want to get screwed around that's all :)

Not a hard concept to follow guys.

Any chance you can post the dyno sheet? Where was it tuned?

Just added the photo of the dyno sheet to the gumtree ad. Work done by Allstar Garage and the dyno was at a dyno day at C-Red.

I never understood the concept of not allowing someone to test drive a car they may be interested in.

How are you meant to get a feel for:
the steering?
Brakes
does it flat spot
vibration through steering
Does it pull
how hard do you need to stomp on brakes .ie does booster work or arw the master cylinder bores wrong
etc...

Anyway gokd luck with sale :)

His car, his rules.
If it doesn't sell under those rules, his loss or he will adjust them accordingly.

If a serious buyer had concerns about handing over a deposit/driving arrangements then I would suggest the alternative is an independent mechanical inspection either from a mobile inspector or through someone like galvsport.

See it all the time with motorcycles, I've also sold one under similar circumstances. I wasn't about to hand over the keys to a high powered vehicle to someone I didn't know so I can understand the sentiment.

The main problem is it stops anyone from just rocking up and having a drive. I'm in no rush to sell so if someone does want to make an offer and have a drive, then they'd get a drive. There's a lot of people on gumtree and I don't want to be taking people out for driving lessons. More than happy to hear some offers and have people around to check it out and test drive it for themselves.

Pictures that are taken from a distance of less than a metre wont help sell it either.

i dont get why you lot are giving him such a hard time.
decent car making decent power, when i sold my old car with similar power on the same dyno i didnt let the first dude who viewed it drive it because he was a nugget. the eventual buyer got a test drive on his second viewing and even then i told him to be sensible.
and the pics are fine? you can clearly see the lines and reflections, tell its not a dinged up heap of shit.

I took close up pics to show that the car is in good condition. You can tell what the car looks like from the pics provided.

I decide who gets to test drive it due to previous sales.

Just trying to sell a car here guys. Pretty simple rules.

I disagree, for example this car did spike my interest but there is not one photo where I can see the car clearly so it immediately lost my interest again. Not trying to be a dick, more a suggestion to help the OP sell the car.

If you are interested make contact with him for more pics?

If you aren't, don't comment.

Let the dude sell his car.

I have plenty of other pics, just wanted to put it up for sale and was limited with the amount of pics I could put up. Now it charges me on gumtree to edit the post so I'm leaving it.

If anyone wants more pics I can provide more via email/facebook.
