What's the guess for its finish price , I'm think 10k isn't out of the question for some stupid Maccas owners.

All that matters

Best of all – 100% of the auction sale price will go to Ronald McDonald House Charities, so get bidding on a legendary sauce for a legendary cause.

I do t see how it will be tax deductible unless paid direct to Ronald's house

Assessable Income = $10,000
Deductible Donation = $10,000
Taxable Income is Therefore NIL

On Ronald's side all income is non-assessable.

Edit: Oh yep, you're right. Whoever buys it wont get any deduction unless the seller is a registered charity themselves. Oops.

You're not making a donation to a charity, you're buying something.

I am of the opinion that most all of those bids are "bogus"... In a few days time they will all be retracted and it will sit on the $200 where it should be..

It's like when Shane Warne retired and his last team shirt was put up for on eBay... it went from $1,000 to $1.25MILLION over night.. Then all those "fake bids" where removed and it settled at $3500..

At least if it is like a cheeseburger you should still be able to enjoy it 10-15 years from now.

Donate a huge amount of money to charity and be seen as a great guy/philanthropist?

or

Buy a bottle of Big Mac sauce for the same amount of money and have to explain every time that "it's for charity"?

Hmmm....

The ranch dipping sauce was where it was at. - I don't think I've enjoyed nuggets since they stopped selling it.
