Mates Evo X white with black wheels was stolen from Cott today approx 12.30pm today, this guy has done RW and several Supercruises so please keep an eye out.

Cheers for letting me know. I was driving around NOR coon suburbs at 9 but couldn't see shit. Also didn't see one police car the whole trip.

Forensics did a shit load of work at owners house so will see what that turns up but he said that his neighbor saw two blokes in his yard followed by a bang, then did nothing or reported. What a stupid pingpingping

Also my mate got a roasting from his wife as he left his keys in a bowl in the kitchen, rookie mistake.

Spotted in redcliffe 5 minutes ago, called police and said they were sending out a patrol car to look for it.

Drove through roundabout and spotted it, they did two laps of the roundabout then continued forward, we did a u-turn and came back to the roundabout, at which point he did a u-turnon someones front lawn then proceeded to follow us for 2-3 streets and then turn off.

Was driving extremely slowly the whole time, no plates on it.

This saga just keeps on going, car keeps getting spotted even had a large orange council 'vehicle reported' sticker on it whilst it was parked and locked in a secluded area of Ascot, some bloke put a photo of it up on the Perth Crime page saying that it looked stolen.

my mate finds the pic about and hour later, calls police straight away with the exact location, 5 hours later the cops phone my mate saying the car isn't there.

interesting fact that he learnt from the police is that every police car automatically scans your number plate to check for outstanding infringements but if you have no plate then it just passes over you and moves to the next car.

He has two days till insurance company pays out so thanks for everyones help with looking for it, reckons he's got everything documented and is going to write a stern letter to the police stating that they're a useless bunch of pingpingpings

cars are always dumped down there. unfortunately they are often set on fire there when dumped :( can see that spot from Redcliffe Bridge too. might be worthwhile checking around ascot racecourse and also garvey park. both are known spots that they hide vehicles to pick up later.

I wouldnt worry about the chassis jig. Ive crashed a 10 and they dont bend. They break. If it looks straight it will be. They are a pretty tuff little car. They are a lot heavier and stronger than a IX.

Big one for me would see if they will test the fuel. I.e if the muppets put 92 octane in it. Its unlikely they paid for the fuel so they probably put 98 in it. If crap fuel went in welcome to ping town.
Also the transfer case. They dont like being launched too many times. Drain the oil and have a look at the colour of the oil and also the crown wheel and pinion through the inspection hatch. New transfer is $3500 + fitting.
Also im sure the rims didnt have one kerb rash mark on them the day it was stolen so get that.
The turbos dont like hot shut downs. Otherwise they are pretty good. Pretty hard to asses the damage though.

A new rear wing from mitsi is over $3500.
New key is about $600 ea + coding.
Genuine brake rotors are poison too if they are damaged. I think people with the MR (2 piece rotors) have had quotes of $11k for 4 rotors and pads supplied and fitted by your friendly local ralliart dealer. This looks like a gsr though.
I think the front seats are circa $3500 ea so if they are graffiti'd then they will have to be replaced.

I dont know what it is insured for but some idiot will pay $12 k for that as a stat write off. It wont be hard for the insurance compAny to spend $20k in parts at which point i would of thought it would be pretty close to being written off.

Also Have a look at the tyres. Look for graining and you will know how hard they drove it or if it was just a a to b thing.
