Few threads around here on ants etc, tried the AMDRO route and a few other types and haven't had much luck with these little black fuckers that are everywhere. Second issue that is we literally have thousands of spiders in the house (black house spiders, jumpy fuckers and redbacks) which no matter how many we kill, millions more come back! The outside of the roof has also started growing bulk cobwebs so can only assume there's some 8-legged party going on above my ceiling.
Normally something I don't care much for but with the little dude crawling around, I'd rather him not go and eat or be bitten by one of these bugs.
Anyone got recommendations for a good pest control company/bloke? SOR in Safety Bay if that makes a difference.

we have the same issue but not to that extent, have been told to try coopex from bunnings. that might help with some relief for now. sounds like you have a pretty decent colony living there though...

Coopex cleAred my roof space of spiders, but pushed a lot of them out into the house just after treatment. Just be wary of that happening.

Did a quick search but i couldnt find the info, 99% certain it was in Things That Annoy You thread but cbf going through the pages...
Ants are becoming a problem in my house. I keep it quite clean, never leave food out but they seem to like the water around kitchen tap and bathroom taps.
What was the product people were recommending?
Cheers

Little brown ants have attacked our house also. Not inside yet but crazy outside. Used a few tubs of the Richgro ant powder from Bunnings but they don't give a shit about that and just keep on going. Keen to kill them all.

Did Amdro for ants, did fuckall. Rang Simon at AllPest - basic pest spray, a month later, no ants & spiders. Win.
For what you pay for all the crap at Bunnings time and time again, just pay someone to do it properly.

Great to hear! Generally if you get a general pest spray like that most of the creepy things won't reestablish for at least a year.
My suggestion is get it done annually and never see them again or if you like just wait until they get into enough numbers that it shits you again and give us another buzz :)
