who knows of a program where I can retrive all the data of my phone and save it to the pc

itunes wont read my phone and the programs I have found cost over $100

who knows what I can use.

use an iphone backup extractor. and extract the contents of the itunes backup rather than off the phone

Should just be able to download your purchased apps and music once you log into your account on the new phone? No need to pay twice.

Is your Iphone locked or Pin code locked..?? Have you tried any of the Wondershare MobileTrans you can get the programs of KickAss torrents

Could the issue be that the reason iTunes is not recognising his phone is that the cord is stuffed? I know I had many issues with both genuine and non genuine apple cables that whilst still pick the phone up for charging, and not transfer cables so iTunes doesn't pick it up.

Make sure you're using a proper apple data sync cable, if it's a 3rd party cable itunes can be fussy.

iTunes really is the best option for what you want to achieve. Once its backed up all you need to do is plug the new phone in and set it up from the old phone backup and away it goes
