So im going to HK for a week at the end of January. Staying in Wan Chai, what are some good things to see off the track/day trips?? Also, anywhere good (or things to eat) to eat/drink that anyone knows of around that area?

#1 Get yourself an Octopus card at any MTR station.

Shoot me your email address and I'll send you our itinerary we did for our HK trip in September.

If you can spare the time, take the ferry to Macauand spend some time in the Cas.

Definitely take the ferry to Macau, we paid $40 for first class tickets return.
Ocean Park was pretty cool.
Victoria Peak and Madame Tassaude's (spelling?) Wax Museum
Never went but the Hong Kong Disneyland
Day Trip to Shen Zhen in China, for any cheap stuff
Lang Kwai Phong for night time beers etc.

Horse races on a Wednesday (?) night. Got to be more to the place than the list above, surely?

im going with a bunch of friends for a joint hens and bucks. so spending a night in macau. they have got a bit organized for us but was hoping some people might know of some places "off the beaten track"
am getting a little nervous with my flight to bali with airasia.. all the talk of whats happening with the airline and the warning to go to bali not helping.

i didn't enjoy macau too much.

it's just baccarat. no entertainment, no decent food compared to HK. would recommend staying at the conrad though. pretty sweet hotel and was very cheap when we went.

if you go don't stay more than a night.
