What are you looking to get?
If you're planning to upgrade it in a year to your unrestricted - it is probably not worth it?
I was contemplating modding mine - then I realised the Daytona 675 makes a beautiful replacement that actually fits me more comfortably once the time comes up.
I would recommend the R6 (2005) model throttle tube. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Motion-Pro-Nylon-Throttle-Tube-Sleeves-Yamaha-YZF-R6-2003-2005-/271251267926?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3f27d5e156
Mate has one fitted and mine is on the way.

Do not mod a 250. You will regret it, trust me.
If you think putting a pipe on a ninja is going to make it faster, it wont.
if you think it'll make it sound better, it fucking wont.
if you think it'll make bitches wet, it most definitely wont.
So, what to take from this? Leave it god damn stock, save your money and upgrade to an awesome bike in a year.

TBH dont bother, you will already be laughed at because of the 2 bros exhaust. Ricing it up with chinese bling parts will just make you look like a fool. Put the money you would of spent into a track day. Much better idea and much greater benefit to you.
And before you think a 250 on Barbs will just be a waste of time going fast and track times are not what Trakdayz are about. With how structured the days learning is you will have more fun on a 250 as you will be able to open it up more than the guy on the litre bike who is stuck in first doing 4000rpm everywhere

as above, don't waste the coin on it. better off putting your money towards quality riding gear and/or track days.
I bought my 250 with an aids sounding 2 brothers pipe and a set of aftermarket levers.
now I am planning on doing some track days over summer to get myself ready for an R class bike.

Ok fellas.
Dad wanted to buy me some shit for xmas, so thought, why not get a few items like a taillight with integrated indicators.. only reason I asked.
Wasnt planning on modding it as its only a 300.

DO NOT PUT AN INTEGRATED TAIL LIGHT ON!!! They are shit, hard to see and completely illegal.
Trackdayz.com do gift certificates.

Enjoy your 'getting rear ended' goals of 2015. Seriously, most stupid mod I've ever seen.
