Travel suggestions for dec/jan

I have 3 weeks off over xmas, I wanna go somewhere, was thinking europe, but it's having a fucking 100 year freeze or some bullshit. Any suggestions of places people have been during these months? I don't care if it's *cold* I just don't want to be buried under snow and have flights grounded and shit.

Been to Tasmania before ? I know it's not overseas (well it is kinda) but when you drive around the entire state it's one of the nicest sceneries Aus has to offer.

NZ is nice in summer. Warm enough to swim etc but not fuck-hot like Perth. Queenstown goes off over the Xmas break too..

haha I remember that, my sister was living there at the time. apparently it completely shut down the city cause they just dont have snow plows and shit due to rarely getting snow.
