Hi guys,
I am considering buying a peugeot 206 gtI, with intentions of converting it to awd and doing a power plant like the old
rally cars, the problem I am having is after 2 days searching google I have found nothing helpfull,
Does anyone know of a shop in perth that can covert the car to awd, using a doner awd car for example evo or gtir or something along those lines any advice on who to talk to would be greatly appreciated the build budget at this stage is around 30,000. Thanks

Try asking on aussiefrogs forum or call Corrado at Eurocare in burswood - he has/had a awd 405

So I found a peugoet 208 rally car that has been build using a evo x running gear and engine.. ive decided to go the same route with a built evo 10 engine I just need a shop to do the converaion work for me this is the biggest issue im having right now and I have upped the budget to 50,000. Does anyone know a shop that can perform the work?

Will have to be custom, so somewhere like galvsport, racing dynamics or chronic customs

50k might not be enough though

Surely buying a built one out of the uk would ultimately be a better car?

Too much of a headache to get it lisenced here.. cant even b rego it with cams due to the awd conversion, as far as I can see online due to the running gear over haul, modifying chassis floor pans and components reducing safety credibilty rah rah head ache.

50k would buy a decent evo x yeah?

With rego

And awd

And you could always put a Peugeot badge on it...

So it seems you want this engineered and road registered?
Heaps of places that could do it, trick is finding the one that wants to do it. Call up a few shops as mentioned above, Al's circuit race and drag race type places, like ITP or AMS etc, maybe torque fabrications...
Probably better to go and see them, could come across like a dreamer plan on the phone.
Get an engineer on board before doing anything however if you want rego. Ask first, cut later...
