Requires re-wiring of your light switch. Also requires an electrician.....so your $70 is more like $500 depending how many switches you want.

DONT DO IT BRO, THE GOVERNMENT WILL HACK YOUR HOUSE AND TURN YOUR LIGHTS ON WHEN YOU DONT WANT THEM. FACEBOOK KNOWS WHATS IN YOUR FRIDGE AND GOOGLE IS WATCHING.

Have wired a house with something very similar and it worked pretty good. The problem is that you need a neutral at every switch and that is where it gets very expensive if you are retrofitting into an existing house.

Looked into this ages ago, I think that some z wave control units only need two wires. Go check over on whirlpool huge thread on this subject

The Apple ones are a rip off. Samsung does a much better product at a reasonable price. WiFi too!

I have put the belkin wemo light switch in recently, as mentioned earlier you need an extra wire for neutral to get it working.
Works great, and can be controlled with remote access via home wifi when you forget to switch off the light switch.
