I notice a lot of volume spiking when watching content 'for example quiet in scenes where there's just talking then extremely loud in action/musical scenes'. I understand that the the volume of a scene changes to go along with the mood the content is trying to portray but the change is extreme.
So I ask: Is not having the correct speakers to audit format the issue, or does changing the sound format help this?
I only run a two speaker three way set up on my PC, would running a 5.1/7.1 system fix my issue with more linear sound, also what 5.1/7.1 systems are out there that don't take up a lot of room that still pump and are quality?
Not looking to raise the roof, just wanting something that will last.
If you require any further clarity please let me know.
Cheers,
