Hi all,

Need some advise if anyone has had any experience.

Rental property got vacated and items still left (bed/fridge/rubbish etc).

Whats the legalities if we dump all the items at the persons new house? Surely its legal to dump it as we need the house cleared before Monday.

have you spoken to them to ask if they want them or not

if they say no and just planned on leaving them as your problem, dump them on the lawn

Well, we did.. My uncle stayed at the house and said the skip bin arrives in 4 weeks time so he will deal with it then.. until that time its our problem (was his words) but some people are going to view it on Monday, but its a mess inside/out so dad and I thought we might just dump all the shit at his place to deal with.

oh it’s a family situation

i think a resolution that keeps your family together won’t be found on this forum

if it’s a random, lawn dump away.

If it’s your uncle call him, tell him the story of people viewing and shit and tell him to get his ring over to help you.

Good/bad ideas are welcome :)

We've been mistreated so time to get back at him.

Your "uncle" is a fucktard.

Bottom line, yes. My mum (his sister) passed away and now he's treating us like shit, so we've had enough and giving it back to him fair and square.

If it still work, leave on front verge and put an add on gumtree - will have pingpingpingpings lining up to take it today.

What size fridge/still work?

Dont know why you just didnt go straight to the bait shop for a bag of mullies and squid! Defrost/cook in microwave and then store in unplugged fridge

Any left over mullies, just throw them at innocent bystanders on the street (does make for some serious lols)

With the microwave, remove that fancy mesh that stops the radiation from getting out and replace with coarse fly screen

You will get happiness out of this later down the track.

EDIT: Damn, its already ruined. Look for a free one on gumtree and do this anyway.

Rectify anything that wasn't returned to you in the same condition it was handed over at the commencement of tenancy as per your property condition report - at his expense (removalists, landfill fees, cleaners, gardeners,. et al).

Withhold security bond to cover costs.

If costs exceed the value of security bond held - spend whatever amount it takes to return the property to handover condition allowing for reasonable wear and tear, then have the magistrates court rule to enforce the payment (not difficult).

Submit an indemnity to dispose of goods to the Department of Commerce. Recieve approval back within a few hours. Destroy everything.
