OK, like I said on the other thread, the Ceffy is now (sort of) going but it's running a little rough and idles quite high (1500 rpm).

So, I talked to Mayhem on MIRC and he suggested that the Cold Start Valve might be stuck open. And then he described where it is. But I'm a dummy and couldn't find it. Anyone have pics or detailed description of how to find it?

Also other suggestions on why it's running a little rough? Some suggestions already made are:

1) Cold start valve stuck open
2) Computer needs time to re-map and re-learn
3) Fuel pump not supplying enough fuel (but seems unlikely just at idle or just off idle)

Thanks,
Matt

PS - Sorry, forgot to specify that it's an RB20DET... :)

Would he be talking about the AAC valve, that ups the idle at cold start, or when u turn the air con on at idle and such? if so its usually got a blue place stuck on it, and it says AAC. but i dunno if he means the same one or not. u can take it off, give it a squirt with some throttle body cleaner, might work, or adjust the idle with the screw behind it.

Oh but if ur gunna adjust the screw, unplug the AAC valve first, then plug it back in

No worries Steve!! I'll do that ASAP once the zorst is on it!! Speaking of zorst, RB's are really, really loud at 7500 without one.... ;)
