1990 Mazda MX5

Perfect for motorkhana, track days etc.
Think Lotus Elise on a budget.

Was built by previous owner (respected member of Perth MX5 Club)
Started as a clean stock manual 1990 Euno Roadster with power steering, air conditioning and hardtop - rare combo.

I bought this with the intention of using it for Motokhanas. It never fails to bring a smile to my face. I really don't want to sell it, but with the birth of another child and moving to a new "renovators dream" home with limited parking the wife says it has to go.

Now if you are looking for a convertible for your daughter to drive to uni then this is not the car for you. It is loud, a stiff ride and a bit tempramental on a cold morning. Having said that I daily drove it for 3 months through last winter without any issues other than a bit of coughing and spluttering until it warms up sufficiently.

I don't want to see this go to waste on the street out the front of our place - it would be perfect for someone looking for an awesome handling and sounding car that doesn't draw any attention from the police and can be used on the weekend for motorkhana's/trackdays etc.

Price - $7,500 ono

Used to be my old bus which was far from stock. I imported it straight from Japan stock as a rock. I did half the work and new owner took it to the next level with the engine and suspension work (I previously installed KYB AGX shocks). Accelerator pedal also modified for a more firmer feel.

Not sure how he got 125hp with a collapsed cat as the new cat was only around a year or 2 old when I sold it. The Magnaflow is what I put on the car!
