We have a vacancy in our warehouse currently, looking to fill it as soon as possible.
Working in a company that specialises in truck and bus spare parts, mainly euro and Japanese and trailer.
we are based in Kwinana Beach
Work is your standard 830-5, 8-430, or 730-4, overtime maybe required at times and we also offer a monthly incentive program based on sales and GP.
we are a small team down here of about 8 staff, you will be working closely with the delivery driver/storeman and also our bus contract support officer who also assists in the warehouse. You will report to myself (parts manager) and also the branch manager.
We Manage the area from North Fremantle down to Mandurah and across to the freeway border. We have a another larger branch in Kewdale.
Duties are you usual warehouse roles, picking and packing, dispatching orders, receipting in of stock and processing stock orders from Sydney, liasing with myself and the branch manager on any issues and also with head office with stock order. Assisting the deliver driver/storeman with deliver runs, filing connotes and keeping records of pick slips and general warehouse maintenance.
We are a fairly new branch which opened in Novembr of 2012 and are slowly expanding. If proven to be a worthy employee there will be an opportunity not too far down the track to be promoted to warehouse supervisor as our plans to grow include employing a lot more staff and this includes the warehouse meaning we will need senior leadership out in the store. We are looking for someone reliable, trustworthy, honest and willing to put in abit of effort.
Pay will depend on experience but is negotiable, somewhere between 40-50k plus super/overtime/incentives. Warehouse experience preferred but not essential and forklift ticket is also desirable. If not we will be sending you to get one anyway.
