View Full Version : Seeking employment opportunities.
I have been with the same employeer 8 years in the water industry. Have worked in procurement, and a bit of OSH, but mainly business improvement, project admin/management stuff with lots of asset management bits and pieces over the last 3 years.
Changes to budgets/finances mean I will not have a role beyond mid February.
Reaching out to see if anyone knows of anything going now or in the near future. Am willing to take a step downwards/sideways to get my foot in the door into a solid career path again.
Clean license, never taken drugs so no issues passing tests like that.
Feel free to get in touch for my resume via here or email at tomj.tj@gmail.com
Many thanks.
That sux man.. we cut back 150 people in november..
Hit up jobs.wa if you haven't already...
Thought about getting into commercial asset management?
Business improvement and your current asset management skills will transfer over very nicely, and if you know how to do budgets and procure services correctly and cost effectively, your clients will love you.
Also, the pay is great and its so easy to progress upwards because there are dozens of companies that have positions open all the time.
Joe - keen to have a chat - let me know when you are free for a catchup at CJ
And yeah - definitely not the only Govco to be cutting down on staff.
Get a fork ticket and hr... To tie you over...
Only things that kept me emotes during GFC ( besides Ben lying for me lol)

Have applied for a couple of jobs already Paul, but no promises I will get either, so time to be proactive.

*Opportunities :p
I'll keep an ear open for you, but I don't think much will crop up in my areas that will suit you......Inpex above would open a lot of doors and pay decent, but probably wouldn't suit your social life ;)

Been keen to have a crack at the mines but i got no major qualifications.
Got s**t loads of civil construction and warehouse experience.

Couldn't find anything Project Controls related through your link... Any chance you could pass my cv on to someone in HR that takes care of that side of the business if I email it through to you?? Just finished up at another Japanese O&G company & looking to jump straight back in if possible!

What sort of administration role?
Used to work for Bristow helicopters scheduling rotary/fixed wing flights for offshore oil rigs, ships and structures.
Also maintained flights between Barrow and Varanus island.
Was pretty intense!
