Soo back in september last year i was made redundant. Had been working as a Structural drafter/designer for the past 5 years with 2D & 3D skills on micorstation predominantly. after being made redundant, i started chasing a mature age apprenticeship as an electrician, knowing their intake would hopefully be sometime at the beginning of the year. turns out thats not going to happen due to lack of work (Nilsen's btw) so now im seeking work. Would still love to get the apprenticeship but would be happy to return to drafting or even some form of bar work on a temp basis till i can secure a apprenticeship.

Have also been looking at going FIFO but unfortunately, other than drafting knowledge and a high risk ticket, i have no other qualifications that satisfy the job criteria ive been finding on the webs.

cheeky edit. current qualifications are:
* Diploma in Civil/Structural drafting
* Cert 4 Project Management
* White card
* High Risk - elevated working platform
* RSA

If anyone knows of anything going, or could help out that'd be so much appreciated. ps. i have no gag reflex so payment would be grand

If i gave you an auto cad drawing and some hand made changes.... Think as constructed drawings could you change them?
Also can yout ake quantities off in auto cad?

Sounds simple to me but i have tried and tried to employ someone who is competent and had some absolute numpties.

Also interested in learning a program called irricad? Think autocad but for the design of irrigation systems.

im in willetton. sounds simple enough, ive done as-con drawings before for Kalgoorlie Nickel Smelter project.
havent drafted in 4 months and havent used autocad in a few years but they all do the same thing right..!
