Z32 MAF for sr20det

i heard that the sr20det AFM can be replaced with the Z32 300zx AFM. i was just wondering if this would be a direct swap over without any tuning needed. i know the harness are diffrent.

you will need a tune!!

why replace it with z32 afm unless you need a tuned.eg bigger turbo or more boost

As Rowlzey says, the ECU must be retuned to suit the Z32 AFM.

cheers mate but nah mind works fine..i was just wondering cos in the next few weeks ill be susing out a Garrett gt2871r turbo for the sr..n wanted to do AFM upgrade as well..

well if you put a bigger turbo on there, you might as well get it tuned at the same time. Save your engine. Dont go lean!!!!! I tried it on last engine, doesnt do well
