Hi,
I was given an old Frigidaire Fridge by an old family friend, he bought it new in the 60's and only needed to get rid of it when he moved in with my dad (he has a new fridge). When I received it, it was working perfectly, it would keep all drinks icy cold. Maybe because the kids weren't constantly in this one like the one inside. It says on the badging "Frigidaire, product of General Motors Holden, Custom Deluxe" with a small badge down the bottom saying "Cold Pantry".
Anyway, I was using it as a shed fridge and then the motor (or something) started cutting in and out. I have unplugged it and kept it unplugged for the last 2 years or so. I have no interest in it anymore, I want something with glass doors so I can see what there is to drink with out opening the door. I know nothing about fridges but assuming as it is old, it might be repairable. It is a solid fridge with no rust that I can see. Previous owner was very fussy with electrical items so assume it was a quality fridge, don't really want to throw on the kerb unless I have to.
Long story short, might suit a collector of Holden stuff or someone who can try to fix it then use it.
Pick up in Forrestfield, number is 0413232974. I am still trying to get an Image Shack account so I can put pictures up, otherwise text me and I send some through.
Thanks, Aaron
