I would like to install Lexan windows to the side doors and rear hatch of my S1 RX-7 as I am finding it had to obtain good glass without any scratches.
I have already a new glass windscreen to fit to the front.

Is it legal to have Lexan windows on a street registered vehicle?

No, not legal for a street car.

I've been ringing around to get scratch resistant Lexan for my ute, seems to be hard to get at the minute........

Well, I have lexan/perspex/acrylic (call it what you will) side and rear on my street rego'd car. Mind you, it was built and registered that way so that may be different from taking a car with glass and changing it over. Dunno. As usual, you need to dig around through the information provided on the Transport website and then get in touch with them if unsure.

Car is currently un-registered. Not sure if rules are different for kit cars though?
