Quick question for you guys. Looking for a decent Physio in the Manning/South Perth area. I'll travel further if its worth it. I work in Kelmscott/Armadale so that's an option too. Any help appreciated.

Having problems with my hip from playing football/running and it's not causing problems elsewhere. Honestly think my hips are out of line from years of abuse at football lol.

Is all about active rehabilitation/strengthening. Would rather treat you once and fix it, then keep you coming back for months on end

Lifestyle in Kensington are pretty good.
I've also spent a fair bit of time at Northbridge Physio, also for a hip issue at one point.
Fixing hips hurts like fuck from my experience. Be prepared to man up for an hour or so!

my hip pains have always been lower back related... fixed by the chiro, If Physio adjust your spine too probably be good.
don't count out a good sports massage either
I had misaligned hips for a while and physios provided limited relief, massage guy loosened everything up, realigned the hips and told me how to stop it occuring again
Gavin @ Alleviate in Como/South Perth is good, another is Luke at muscle-ease therapy but I think he is slaying bitches in europe atm.

Mine wasn't. Pulled chunks of muscle and cartilage out of place in one deft maneuver
I've generally found if your injury is something that's just gotten worse over time (like dg88's) then it's going to be something structural and will involve a lot of massage and doing something you regularly do slightly differently. You might find a custom set of orthotics might be a big help. Best $$$ I spent on sports gear.
If it's from trauma (eg, high impact collision, muscle tear) then it's going to be a touch different.

I have a feeling mine may be trauma related. I've had that many knocks and bangs over the years with football I can't see how it wouldn't be trauma related lol. Road running probably isn't helping so might take up cycling/swimming for some non impact training. Football season is over in about 6 weeks so I'll get a good rest then. Thanks for all the help lads.

I know all about it. It's a sore place to get work done but what's an hour's pain if it stops any other pains I'm having lol
