Cure for cancer on the cards.. cure for AIDs on the cards... where will conspiracy theorists go next!

There were vets testing a cure formed from plants in the Qld forests years ago on terminally ill dogs/cats and it worked well, killing the cancer/tumour from the inside when injected into it. Only saw this once on a TV news program and never heard about it again though so hopefully things work out!

IMO The cure is out there but it doesn't work in any business' favour to let it out.

Much like cars that can run on water when everyone is whinging about emissions.

CD47 is ubiquitously expressed in human cells and has found to be overexpressed in many different tumor cells

CD47 was first identified as a tumor antigen on human ovarian cancer in the 1980s. Since then, CD47 has been found to be expressed on multiple human tumor types including acute myeloid leukemia (AML), chronic myeloid leukemia, acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL), multiple myeloma (MM), bladder cancer, and other solid tumors.[3]

So the key point is because CD47 is over expressed in some cancers it is a potential target on those types of cancer... But it is not overexpressed in all cancers and it is also present in every cell in the body. So if you target this you will likely set the immune system to war against normal cells as well.

But if they can figure it out and get some useful activity its still a valuable tool, but I can't see it being the miracle cure.
