UFO thingo wednesday night

I'm not huge into UFO's or anything but the whole thing really interests me. Anyway, Wednesday night about 5:30 heading north on the freeway around stirling traino I looked up into the clear sky and saw what I can only explain as smoke that looked like something had entered orbit. At the tip of the smoke (imagine the smoke was going up so the base) a circle object slowly came from the bottom and headed downwards and then the smoke slowly cleared/evaporated as the circle/orb got lower, it almost looked like something had come in from orbit (Could have been a meteor or something small?) Anyway it was prime traffic time heading north and there wasn't a cloud in the sky, did anyone else notice it or was there some news about this?
My first UFO in Perth of all places, they are gonna be pissed when they findout we are the most expensive place to live in the southern hemisphere.

Would have posted the other night but had to fly out to the mines and its been on my mind haha.

But wouldn't they be going like horizontally? This was heading straight vertically down? I've never seen anything like it, I watched the orb thing head down as far as I could before I couldn't see past the trees anymore. I googled it and thought someone would have gotten a photo or video or soemthing, it didn't happen very fast it was over maybe 10-15 minutes. Traffic was slow so I'm sure others saw it.

Not an optical illusion?, like the distance and angle of a plane creating contrails can create the look of them being vertical? Might explain the reason why it appeared to move so slowly that it was a great distance away.

Not even sure if that's possible.

Nope it was dead straight down, certainly wasn't a plane, thats why I thought it could have been a meteor maybe thats come at the right angle or something. It might have been a way off which is why it looked slowish because it was probably coming down pretty fast. At firs tI couldn't see the orb it was just the smoke, shaped like a football but long ways vertically and the smoke was colored like a cloud except there were no clouds in the sky. Then after a few minutes the orb came out the bottom and slowly as it got further from the smoke, the smoke slowly evaporated or just disbanded and faded.

If it was dead straight down you wouldnt have seen the trail. Would have been something entering at an angle less than tangential but appeared to come straight from your angle.

Also ive worked in remote areas out of geraldton, Port Headland and Newman and i see this every day. Only thing i can put it down to is very high flying planes though.
