Any Perth/Hotel Guru's here?

Hi Guys,

Any Perth/accommodation gurus here that can tell me what hotels in the CBD have a decent bar attached or inside them?

I'm wanting to stay on a Thursday night, but hire their bar out from 11pm - 2-3am. The only issue is, some places require that people you want to bring along must be staying at the hotel.

Is there anyway I can get around this, or any places to try (That was at the Hotel Ibis on Murray Street). It'd only be fore a total of 10-14 people all up.

I've stayed at the duxton a few times and the bar inside their is pretty nice with good service.

I've not really stayed around Perth much, ideally a few of us would stay at the place of choosing. Rydges seemed keen as long as I labeled it a "function" and brought a couple of platters of food which I'm happy to do, saves me trying to get people to stay there!

I'll pop the Duxton an email also, and perhaps stalk pics of their bar online.

Armada Bar attached to the Travelodge - always good for getting a few in.

I'm currently working in the Somerset Hotel on the Terrace (old Chifley Hotel) fitting out a room, they have a bar attached to it too.
