TL;DR / Main Points:
Willing to intern/work for free*
Want to learn how to make a good Espresso
Long story:
Come last Quarter 2013, I'll will be indefinitely traveling around the world. All my current skill sets revolve around design/film and music, coming to the realisation that none of that will likely help when looking for a 'pick-up' job as a backpacker I'm in search of some more applicable skills.
I currently have a decent paying job that takes up all of my Friday (5pm+) and Saturday (6:30pm+) Nights. All of the Cafe'/Bar jobs that will take me on require I have those night free and all the Jobs that can take me on '9-5' Monday to Friday; Require me to have experience.
I earn a good wage and have a lot of free time during the week so I'm currently looking if a decent cafe' would take me on. I'm willing to do casual hours on a trial basis for a predetermined time in return for a decent grasp of the ins and outs of making a coffee and the experience to boot.
I have my current RSA and Unrestricted Managers License, so I can also do Bar work if the bar also dose espressos.
If all else fails, if anyone can help out with obtaining a casual/part time retail or hospitality job that requires no weekend shifts, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time.
