Going on date Thursday into the city for coffee, but have no idea at all as to a nice coffee shop/cafe to go to as I don't drink the stuff.
Looking for a place that's nice on eyes, room to talk to each other without having people sitting in arms reach and not overly busy.
Suggestions please!!!!
Uncle Joes Mess Hall, 76 King st Perth.

You want a good coffee shop that's not busy - surely you see the irony in that? Haha.
To be honest, any coffee shop that's not a branded one should make a reasonable drink.

When I say busy, I mean 1000 people trying to cram into one little shop and have the noise pollution of Northbridge.

Toastface Grillah for something different and a little bit more casual. It's tucked away in Grand Lane (cnr. Wellington & Barrack).

I enjoy coffee at Tiger Tiger across from star skate. Really chilled vibe and nice coffee. Plenty to talk about too.
Don't fuck around.. Maven Espresso at Raine Square.
Edit.. Just saw its a date, Maven isn't suitable as it's a coffee bar.
Gordon Street Garage would be a great option for a date.. It's big enough that it won't feel crammed.

Get Joe to open Nespresso Joes for the night, for just you and your date, if you slip him a box full of Fixie parts and a chest comb, he'll probably be down for it :P

Milk and Honey has the best eggs/salmon/benedict I've had in Perth, using a Bagel instead of the usual toast/muffin is such a good idea.
Greenhouse, you hipster you :P

Given you don't like coffee, I've found San Churros to be a great place to take a sexy 12 year old, I mean first date to.
Although I'm not sure what their coffee is like, I normally just grab their hot chocolate!
