only FB groups i have are ride group ones, FB is a good way to reach a large but selected audience at once. Rather than just posting on a forum and having a heap of strangers rock up. Sucks and is annoying when u have randoms and fuckwits turn up to a car cruise but usually worst that can happen is mayb a small accident or some unwanted cop attention. On a bike if someone u dont know rocks up starts showing off and takes you out then the consequences are obviously alot worse so bike ppl tend to be a bit picky who they ride with.
