Hi guys, probably a stupid question but worth a shot. I've been looking personal plates. But what I want is gone. Is there anyway of finding out where it's at or if its for sale privately??

you may be able to ask the department of transport to send a request to the owner of the plates to see if they want to sell them, but i would say they would not give out info on who has them.

If its a funny/witty/clever plate check out the number plate groups on Facebook and ask there, seems to be pretty popular on stalkbook these days

Unfortunately it isn't anything special really. Just DG 88 WA. Doubt ill get it so just need to think of something else.

Yeah unfortunately DOT won't give you the owner's details, under Privacy laws..

Best bet is to try something else bud.

So I finally made a decisicion on a plate. Submitted the request 2 weeks ago. I haven't heard anything back yet at all. How long should it take to come through??

When I submitted mine, I heard back within a week I'm pretty sure.

Well I haven't heard a thing. No phonecall or email even. Who do I contact about it? The office I elected to pick up the plate at??

Mine took just over 2 weeks, but they do say up to 6-8 weeks

Yeah I paid the money and everything. Talk about a mission trying to get a phone number for the licensing centre!!!! I selected pickup as Kelmscott centre as I work a few doors up but can't get a number!!!

just call the 13 number or what ever it is, they can check everything for you
