So to make Racewars a little bit less disappointing I am going to head down for a few runs tomorrow night to dial in Launches etc.

Anyone else keen? Or already attending?

Just spent the last hour poking a screwdriver the the brake rotors as I haven't done that in about 12 months, more soot at the back of the rims than a sooties convention centre, cleaned, now ready to do the wax, I hate washing my car. Each time a new chip somewhere..... shits me. Why can't people have mud flaps?

I wonder if there going to clean/sweep the runway? most runways don't have the risk of FOD, I'm thinking the country... too bad so sad tiger, either go on the there or don't.

But really you just want to thrash my M5...everyone wants to pick on the Euro at the Plex.

Pending on time Damo69, I'm dropping the air diffuser tomorrow to do a full fluid flush on the SMG. If' it's done by 6 I'll come down. Just post the lane your in and I'll chat to the crew - I know a few of them so I'll get which ever lane your in.

just finished building a new airport in bumfuck no where (brockman 4, near tom price) trust me airlines take FOD very seriously regardless of location.

If we miss out then guess what's happening this weekend? FOD damage left right and centre, can't see Wylie being concerned with FOD.

Most regional airports will have someone that does a daily check, usually it'll be a council employed person.
Even at Jandakot they only do it once daily, I know, I used to do it, you'd be surprised how much shit we had that fell off planes.

I might be keen to hit the strip again, last time I did a 13.3 with 75hp less than I have now :)

did 13.5 then lost in intercooler hose clamp on my 2nd run :(

if my car makes it past racewars i will be there again wednesday in R comp baller hose clamp glory

I did a 2.1 60ft I ran a 13.9. I am pretty impressed with that! There is still some room for improvement and cooler weather and a little more consistency. Maybe 0.1-0.3 if I hooked up a perfect run :D

My second best run was a 13.94 with a 2.3 60FT, so with cooler weather and more consistent 60FT I should go faster! :)

105 MPH was my highest. My fastest ET netted a 102 MPH.

I was really impressed with the 60 FT, especially for a FWD Torque Monster. The ACCESSPORT L/C function helped get it off the line with minimal issue... Most the time
