View Full Version : Simpsons
Whats your favourite part/line/episode and why?
for me:
when flanders goes nuts and homer visits him and needs to make him angry. its blatantly obvious that homer is reading it out from a card-
"previous circumstances in which i have professed to liking you have been false"
cracks me up every time.

Homer simpson is a legend.
He is my inspiration, I aspire to be like him.
If I could meet anybody, from anything, it would be him.
Homer and Flanders again:
NED: I understand you stole my flowers, but did you have to salt the earth so nothing would ever grow again?
HOMER: He he he, yeah.
Pure magic :)

Homer: SHUDDUP!

I never get sick of watching old episodes of the simpsons. I don't understand why but an episode i've been maybe 10 times is still more appealing than anything else on TV :)

Fav Quote: Save Me Jeebus!!!
Its about the only cartoon in the history to actually have an impact on society
who ever said Doh before homer?
ppl quote it all the time, its a matter of discussion in person and on forums like this and its a great commentator on social issues if you read in between the lines.

I don't think any show in recent history at least has had more impact on general society than the simpsons (especially with it being animated). Homer would have to be king of the lines/episodes...
"Lisa if the bible has taught us nothing else, and it hasn't, it's that girls should stick to girl sports - like hot oil wrestling, foxy boxing.. and such and such."
There's too many good episodes/lines to remember and i can still watch all the repeats.. pretty rare in a tv show.
Whats a battle?
Did he say whats a battle?
No, he said whats that rattle.

simpsons is awesome...but Futurama is better - the boxed sets are so cheap now - and the fact is they havent been viewed to death by the public like all the simpsons episodes..

"Come on timmy, do it for MacGarnacle."
"Okay, MacGarnacle"
--
"Well thanks to you MacGarnacle, little timmy is DEAD! They slit his throat from ear to ear!"
"Hey! I'm tryna eat lunch here!"
I think the best written line would have to be:
Mr Burns (golfing with homer): "Quit cogitating Steinmetz, and use an open-faced club, the sand wedge!"
Homer: "Mmmm, open-faced club sand-wich..."
Best episode is homie the clown - mmm clowns are funny..stop it stop it his already dead or when he hits the tree then afew seconds after flys out but i can never remeber the funny little clown tune when everyones on fire at the plant
mmm erotic cake mmm crumbled up cookies
get em toys i mean boys
duffman cant breath o'yeah
