so part of being a liar and a cheat is that you dont get to keep your engagement ring.
Mrs was fifo and it was kept in Perth so worn at most 1 month.
as per the image (valuation), you can see the specs, .74ct oval stone center and .30/.34 side stones pear shape.
total weight 1.38ct
this was lovingly hand crafted by a friend in Perth
Stones are very high quality, looks fucking amazing.
comes with a photo book - step by step constructions with original certs for diamonds
Valued in Perth 18 Nov 2012 @ $11,730.00
asking $8K o.n.o
As i now have no Mrs, why not have a project car... will look at trades
please somebody buy this so i don't have to go to cashies.
PM for more pics.

Did this come with GIA certification for each stone? Not my thing at all but great colour stones. The flourescents in the big stone will hurt it in natural light. In artificial light it will look great. The individual certification should also have some more information on each stone. I.e. the 4 c's. colour, carat, cut, clarity.
There are 3 measurements that make up the cut but the valuation only includes the flourescents.
I think trying to get circa 90% of the retail value on a secondhand engagement ring is more than a bit ambitous but if you dont ask you dont get!
P.s. for anyone interested the worlds 2nd largest diamond and jewellery show started in hong kong yesterday.

HAHAHAHA - GIA and ELG certs are about as reliable as Ebay Urabus, they always bump things up grades or colours to add value, but this ends up cheapening the market and making rings like this hard to come by.
as said above this was made in perth and valued in perth, I picked each stone myself (with my friend whom has 10 years exp as a goldsmith) to make something amazing.
i have the ELG mini cert for the center stone, cut: Oval Car: .74ct Fluor: Slight blue Colour: D Clarity: VS2 its fkn mint
thanks for your input mate, cool story too

It is a cool story. If your goldsmith mate is a good a mate as you say he is you would know that blue flourescents reduce the rapaport price of a stone by 30%. If he is a good a mate as you say he is you would not have paid anymore than 50% (absolute max) of retail valuation.
I walked out of a marriage after 4 weeks so i have a reasonable idea of how you feel but i am happy to bet you $50 that if you dont have it in a month you sold it for less than $5k.
