Peoples,
The old man lent his boat to a mate and the inevitable happened..... He hit a reef and ripped the skeg off, destroyed the prop and bent the driveshaft.
Anyways I need to purchase a new skeg and driveshaft for a Suzuki 300hp outboard. I do not want to re weld a new piece on. The boat is immaculate and I dont want the skeg to be 1mm out.
I can get the skeg out of the states for about $2.5k and the driveshaft is about $400.
Anybody know / work for anyone locally that can source the parts?
