my mate has a clio, and was after some info bout modding them, i know their's a guy that has one i have seen him on a cruise once, cant remember what club it was though? its a black one with gold rims and semi slicks? i think his name is nathan...anyone know him or have his email or something? or know what mods he has done to his car and where he got it all done?

AFAIK the car is close to stock, with the addition of a few basic mods like CAI and what-not.

yeah i see him every now and then.
the car just has a pod filter and exhaust and goes hard!! Its an awesome little sleeper!!

i think it should do a 14 second 1/4 peice of piss..

but for the price you pay.... :)

he did a 15.3 or something standard.
there was another guy running 14.7 with just exhaust and intake mods. Nathans should run the same time.

yer thats nathans car.Good for a n/a. Umm the 6cyl will run 13's easy and with a few mods probally high 12's. But thats only wot ive heard

these cars a awsome stock with amazing performance and handling even better are the MID engine V6 one but as Balistc said they were never sold localy but saw a fue in Europe and they were bloody fast.

no his isnt mid engine.

last time i talked to nath he said he hadnt run a 14 because he couldnt get a good launch.

And he does have a pod filter. lol

yer he got pod, i think, its been awhile since ive poped the hood. His dad is a importer so u might see him with a 6cycl in it soon, but it looks like he wants to go jap styles, who knows why, i would rather the 6cycl clio anyday, being rare, fast and newish as well.

Why the hell would you pull the motor out of a Clio Sport and put a V6 in it??? The 4 cylinder is already a sensational motor..

the v6 is meant to be really nice and very very fast. Its not like a turbo motor, its limited to its performance gains and in most cases its just better to drop a bigger and better engine in it. I think the engine he is thinking about putting in it, is from the new clio sport so it fits nicely and its a race spec motor.

So Im very interested to see how that goes. But then again Im not sure, if he is able to import the new clio sport with the v6 that would be a better option then just dropping the engine into his car now. For him they can imported quite cheap wrecked. And they are in the know, so they get every thing cheap.
