I have started this thread to keep questions etc from cluttering the full thread.

You have about 10 days to apply, with successful applicants informed shortly after.

Please do mind we have a cap on passes we will be giving - and as such some people will miss out. We, however, do not wish to stop people from applying.

There is no exceptions to any of the conditions we have posted. If you are unable to accept them then applying will be a fruitless exercise for you.

I think you may have a few issues with getting media outlets to hand over photos, for AL/Racewars to watermark for itself. I know the majority of my publications would refuse to do that.

My suggestion would be to negotiate photo rights depending on publication (you guys will know which are worthwhile outlets to do this with).

Yeah - hence the request part.

It is highly unlikey we say to outlet x "send us 400 full res pics"

I am sure if we asked for a pic or two we can work something out with people.

Applications for media accreditation will close at 5pm WST Monday 4th March. We thank everyone who's submitted an application and remind those who haven't got around to it yet to get on with it or miss out on the opportunity to get up close and in the thick of the action trackside.

We'll inform successful applicants no later than Friday the 8th.

Speedhunters has been in the loop since the very beginning of the event, I'm not sure what their plans are with regards to covering Racewars but I'd be very surprised if we didn't get some level of coverage.

I believe a film crew from The Smoking Tire may also be in attendance thanks to one of the entrants, I believe Brockas was following this up.

All that being said we've got some really great guys on-board by the looks of things and I'm sure no one will be disappointed with the quality and quantity of material that comes out of the event.

We'd also like to remind people that while they may not have official media accreditation there's nothing stopping them coming out for the weekend and snapping away albeit from the spectator areas.

I haven't heard anything back recently from Matt @ TST which is a shame as I have more than enough FF points to bring 3 people from the US and return...

Matt just told me that he's still discussing it and "it's a very good possibility".
