apologies if repost but has anyone seen this?
http://members.iinet.net.au/~sean.cable/404293_484787024877957_299158461_n.png
so as an excuse to procrastinate I decided to check out the "source" that claims cruising = hooning.
http://www.carrsq.qut.edu.au/publications/corporate/hooning_fs.pdf
Over recent years, the term “hooning”
has been used to refer to antisocial
driving behaviours such as
2:
< snip >
and even
- “cruising” - where groups of vehicles
slowly drive around an area to
exhibit their vehicles.
so in the source article it is merely stated that cruising has been previously associated with hooning and yet the newspaper article claims that this source unequivocally says that cruising = hooning??
fucking taken WAY out of context. how does this shit even get published?

Sweet, single peggers and FWD/AWD skids are all good.

Shit, they could have arrested a couple hundred hoons at the All Ford Day cruise last weekend. Maybe throw the kids in the cells too for being taken along/associating for the day with the rest of the family, that'd teach those little fucking hoons in the making. Fuckers.

The little "article" won't change shit.
It's just to get into the minds of the moron public and remind them of how naughty car enthusiasts get.

If (when) the new police pursuit laws come in, not stopping because you don't want your car taken just means you'll end up in jail instead (mandatory jail sentence plus they'll probably still take your car anyway)
Fuck you'd get less for manslaughter
You get less time for murdering your spouse and burying them head first in a hole.

The fine for sticking 4.5g of crystal meth up your bum in an airport is actually less than you'll pay to get your car out of impound.

Bingo, I also think is because we are such a new country and we started off with harsh laws and we just kinda bend over whenever a new law passes and we have massive varieties of races that lets be honest "fit in or fuck off" says it all that we do have racial hate and we wont unite and stand up against these people who are taking away our freedom.
Create hate with in society and you will have a population who isnt willing to help or fight for eachother.
