Fantastic event, main competition is tomorrow so plenty of action still to come!

Swing past and say hi at some stage. There are plenty of us up there enjoying the drifting / time attack.

Pls correct if Im wrong but I think with the guys from AL; RRob went 61-62, Denver went 65-66, 404 went 1,11-1,12.

Helped a mate for the weekend with his car and really enjoyed it, plenty of great cars and driving.

Rob's time in a RWD (that isn't an RX7) was incredible.


Troy apparently couldn't get the Evo to turn in enough as it was generating too much rear downforce. They took it off and he went 2 tenths faster.

+1 If it wasn't for being in the tent I would have left within a matter of hours. Was amusing watching everyone on ground level getting swamped with flies, burnt and then drenched during the storm. It was also entertaining hearing Andrew Hawkins from Motive DVD spending more time ripping into Brockas over the PA than commentating the event.

If anybody did get any photo's of Vidal Sasoons Love Child car I would appreciate some links to throw into my build thread.

Had a great day even being the side show act to ADGP didn't bother me too much especially on the final run when the timing wasn't working! Would have been better if we had more numbers to keep the 20,000 spectators amused.

I was there helping the guys out again this year due to not having tyres sorted in time...

Organisation was a bit all over the show with the drifters, but it seems there were differing versions of the time table out there, which wouldn't help, but still, it doesn't help when you tell them they are due on track in xx minutes and they look at you like you are speaking Swahili...

Last 'Time Attack' Session was a laugh! Anyone have footage? Would of been better viewing from where you guys were.

I guess you could do all of them at least in part...
Reality is the TA rules exclude a lot of cars, and I'd say most of those who have cars that meet the rules are generally not that into track competition anyways.

I must say that final session was like being hunted by a pack of angry wasps, my mirrors were all technicolor coming down that hill.

Marquee was a god send on Sunday after getting charred on Saturday walking through the pits for an hour, top job Brockas. Definetely the best spot in the house watching some of those last battles and seeing Denver try his hand at drifting!

Maybe put Blaa on security next time as 'hair free man' looked ready to roll heads when asked to leave several times haha

Yeah weather protection was good to have. Didn't really know anyone but cheers Brockas for getting my mates in. Made it a lot more enjoyable.

What a weekend.. Apart from falling off turn 7 at speed, I had a ball and set a PB of 61.77.. Shame about the lack of numbers entered for the grip side of things.

Was really awesome watching you throw the 15 around barbs looks like you were getting a really nice run comming through turn 4. Just wondering if you have a build thread of the beast?
