Hey Fellas looking at getting a compressor and wondering what the best for your money, I run 33s so want something that will pump them up as fast as possible, I see Ironman have a new one out rated at 160lt a minute for $242 sounds pretty cheap! is it hard to mount a 12v model in your car ??

cheers
Will

Out of curiosity (as I'll hopefully be fitting one myself this uni break) - is this model you are talking about a separate unit? Or one to connect to the belt and run off of the motor on a switch?

Also in the market for a compressor that will pump up my front runners to 60psi when required down at the track.

I have the ARB single unit. It has been outstanding. Its not super fast but its not slow either from 18psi on all 4 to 38psi Takes about 5 mins including getting the hose out. . I only have 32's on my car anything bigger and I would look at installing a small tank or buying the bigger ARB one to speed the process up.

This is the one I would be looking at.. About 500 bucks I think http://www.ultimate4wdequipment.com.au/Uploads/Downloads/product-release-ckmta12-final.pdf

I mounted it in the tub of my ute. Just needs good wiring as they draw a fair bit.

I have the same arb compressor i run 35s as said before its not the fastest but it is very reliable and hey its not gonna hurt to let your car cool down for a little longer after a hard run while you pump the tyres back up

And the arb unit can activate air lockers if you choose to go down that path in the future

Cheers fellas! yeah looks like an ARB one might be the better option... Ive just opted for the OME sport shocks and springs im getting fitted in a few weeks so might aswell go for an ARB compressor too! I may get an air locker in the future too so that would be handy!
