Hey all.

I'm asking on behalf of a mate who's working on the Curtin Uni Motorsport project:

Does anyone here paint carbon-fibre panels? Failing that, does anyone know of a company who specialises in it?

I'm unsure if special prep is required, and it's therefore more difficult, or if it's the same procedure as normal metal panels.

Any names would be great.

Pretty sure it's the same process as painting fibreglass/plastics. Rubberised primer and paint over the top. Could contact someone like carbonmods to see if they can give any tips on painting, I'd say any decent panel beater would be able to do it (maybe PM big o @ meltham? )

Robbie at Hybridcustoms in Welshpool does a lot of carbon stuff and he has a painter that he uses

Give Leon at Beyond Custom a call. They do all their own carbon fibre work, painting etc on site. 93751119.
