I know it's probably a lost cause/car is in pieces/vanished etc... but all leads for the owner have gone cold so in the event even the slightest bit of information comes forward from anyone it would probably be a god send to the owner...

Car is currently making new rounds on some forums/facebook pages to try see if anything new comes forward.

Hi guys and girls,

Please keep an eye out for my 1997 Toyota Supra that was stolen between 17th December to 22 December 2011 from B-rad Performance Workshop. For people that don't know, the car had been in the workshop for 2 1/2 years. Long story short the owner went MIA and during that time some complications arose and the workshop was cleaned out in the owner's absence.

For those who know me, this is my pride and joy and is pretty much a HUGE part of my life as I have spent upwards of $80,000 on it. Please be on the look out for the car. It won't be driven around as the car is missing an engine at the time it was stolen along with all my parts. Police and authorities have all been contacted, there's really not much more I can do.

List of missing items:

1997 Toyota Supra 'SZ'

- 2JZ-GTE Half Cut
- Stage 1.5 Shift Kit with 2800RPM Stally
- FMIC
- HKS F-CON V-Pro
- HKS SSQV3
- Reinhart 3" RH01 Exhaust
- Apexi Neo
- Cusco front and rear strut brace (Should be in the car)
- Viper 791XV Immobiliser with all features including remote start
- Boost Controller
- Defi Boost Gauge
- Brand New Glass Series 1 Headlights
- 1UZ Rear Sump
- NA Auto Gear Box
- Clear Side Indicators
- Mcolluch HID headlights
- Radiator Cooling Panel

There are more bits and pieces missing but I will add them as I remember. Thanks heaps guys.

Short version of events:
Person who owns/runs the workshop is a missing person/believed to have fled overseas (possibly US)
Owner of the shop (who leased it out) has gone in to recoup losses and cleaned out shop
Car was last seen leaving on a flatbed
Tow truck company could have been a bullshit one

meji had his car in the workshop with our clubs mechanic
mechanic went awol
mechanic is a missing person/may no longer be with us
months pass
real estate was involved in helping people get their gear back
owner of the shed wants to relet the shed to start gaining an income again
a debt collector is involved
workshop is cleared out
cars are pushed outside the workshop
for whatever reason mejis car was loaded onto a tilt tray
meji has contact details of the tilt tray guy as well as someone else who "should" know where the car is

so the owner has no part of an involvement in all of this other than that he wants to relet the property to make money
the mechanic who was renting the property could possibly be dead
the real estate employed someone else to clear the shop and recoup the debt
the debt collectors are the last people to know or see what was in the workshop...

Anyway, chances are slim/none - car is probably in pieces/reshelled/tags changed/cut-up - who knows. No suspicious parts have popped up for sale that the Supra community knows of anyway so who knows... anything could lead anywhere.

Kind regards,

Paul
